REVENGE KILL

Usually seen as vulnerable and  harmless, those perceived as women are often glossed over in concerns of danger. Women are normally viewed as being modest and gentle, with little to fear; the word feminine itself is considered similar to such words as soft, delicate, graceful, and tender.

The apparent ability to be “motherly” has proven to leave its stain on the perception of women, marking them as nurturing caregivers. This assumption is just as dangerous as women can be, leaving them with the burden of being expected to aid others even in their own time of need.

Revenge kill speaks to the breaking point, the point in which women-identifying people reach when they are no longer able to provide that support and foundation for the people around them. Beyond that, this work is a sentiment to dangerous and even deadly women, something that is considered so rare and unseen in our current society.
