This lesson will allow us to get started on your darkroom journey! It is important to have a roll of black and white 35mm film shot and ready for development prior to our lesson. You should also bring the camera you used to shoot the film with. If you'd like, bring a pencil and paper to take any notes you may feel necessary! When scheduling a lesson with me, please schedule at least 2 weeks in advance- this way I can ask off work and ensure that we can meet at the time that works best for you! Darkroom lessons are $60/hr for one person, or $90/hr for two people. All payment for private darkroom lessons is handled by Redux Contemporary Art Center. If you have any questions about this, you can contact Carson Carroll at carson@reduxstudios.org. For our first lesson, I anticipate that it will take about two hours- if we end up going over, or even finishing faster than scheduled, no worries! Flexibility is everything- and we'll adjust payment as necessary.
